Wiedermal "mein Wien" - diesmal in Form eines "memes", das über Ghent und smi (Wien) zu mir kam. Und ich schließe mich smis Eröffnungssatz an: eigentlich mach ich da ja so gut wie nie mit - aber weils schon so aufgelegt ist und um "mein Wien" geht... na gut. Dann mach ich eben mit (und danke, smi, fühle mich geehrt).

1. My favorite ‘grab-a-bite’: I guess I quit grabbing bites quite some time ago - except icecreams during summer at Paolo Bortolottis: Mariahilferstraße 94. And especially the yummy chili-chocolate-flavour (not always available) and poppy-seed-flavour things. The "panna cotta" is also delish. Or the brownie with vanilla-icecream and chocolate-something @ UNA.

2. My favorite shop in town: I like the vintage-shop Polyklamott, not because of the vintage-stuff but because they feature "young" designers. At the moment its "Fröhliche Welt". I adore her stuff. I am also very much into little, shiny, colorful things - things to write on or with. Best to buy for example at SAX in Neubaugasse or stuff @ das Möbel. And of course books and newspapers! (Morawa or Prachner). Ah, and not to forget the shoes :-)

3. My favorite restaurant: hm. Hidori, Burggasse 89, for original and exciting japanese food. Or Stomach for vienese food and a relaxing time and good wine. It is so comfy there especially during the winter... ask the cats! I also go regularly to Cafe Engländer for lunch or to Cafe Gschamster Diener and Pontoni.

4. My favorite ‘take my friends when in town’: Breakfast @ MQ Daily (also good for spotting "cool people"), some nature-stuff and then of course to a Heuriger or the like (Häuserl am Stoan) and then for Cocktails to First floor.

5. Other 5 4 things to mention: I love sitting around in vienese coffee shops, like Cafe Jelinek for reading newspapers and nothing else. The most beautiful cinema in Vienna: Filmcasino; Steinhof for a walk and some touching history. be a good girl for a haircut and -colour.
